No. Just wanted to see it before I leave AK for good. Solar midnight was 2:30 a.m. Got up to take pictures. Luckily it was clear.

Would you mind posting one or two? It's a part of Alaska I've never seen.

Forests abound, and grasslands starting from far west Minnesota, into North Dakota.

Made it to Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Went to a nice restaurant, where I had one of my faves, a Cuban sandwich. http://www.bushwakker.com/

Made it to Waterton National park, in Alberta. Too bad the wildfire must have damaged more than I remember reading. We can't take the scenic drives, because they are closed. We did get to see the mountains though. It's pretty nippy compared to home, here in the mountains.

A bird landed right next to me, so I quickly got a picture. It is a little rough because of the speed I snapped the pic.

Well we made it through Banff, and I thought I'd share one of the slowly disappearing glaciers. Looking at it through my binoculars, it must have ice at least 30 feet thick.

A non nature related one. Found an interesting flavor of Doritos. Don't tell Grind, because these would make major munchies. They also have various kit kat bars. Like Ones with a choc chip cookie dough filling, and a cookies and cream, cappuccino, or mint large bar.

Those Magpies speak w/ a Canadian accent....
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

    "Banff
    Town in Alberta, Canada
Banff is a resort town in the province of Alberta, located within Banff National Park. The peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains, dominate its skyline. On Banff Avenue, the main thoroughfare, boutiques and restaurants mix with château-style hotels and souvenir shops. The surrounding 6,500 square kilometres of parkland are home to wildlife including elk and grizzly bears.
    Elevation: 4,537′ "

Always heard about Banff, don't really know much about it.

I'm now in Radium Hot Springs for the night. No Jack I won't go to the springs, and get a babe picture. Probably more old folks anyway.
