We are a freedom of worship nation. No favoring of religion, or religious based laws are to be created. Freedom of, and freedom from religion. No one is aloud to tell you what to believe or worship. Despite being a Christian, I without a doubt tell you the intent of America has never been any religion based. It doesn't make it Christian just because the majority of those that came here were originally. They came here to freely worship.

If America is considered a Christian nation then what better example do you need to abhor Christianity and its followers?

The treaty of Tripoli
"As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion,--as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquillity of Musselmen,--and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mohammedan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever interrupt the harmony existing between the two countries."

"The Christian god (goyim's god) can easily be pictured as virtually the same god as the many ancient gods of past civilizations. The Christian god is a three headed monster; cruel, vengeful and capricious. If one wishes to know more of this raging, three headed beast-like god, one only needs to look at the caliber of people who say they serve him. They are always of two classes: fools and hypocrites."
Thomas Jefferson
America Is Not A Christian Nation And Never Has Been
The text of the U.S. Constitution makes no mention of God, Jesus Christ, or Christianity.
The founding fathers’ religion wasn’t always worn on their sleeves. Looking back, it’s quite difficult to tell where some of our nation’s great leaders fell on the religious scale. Deism was popular at the time – the belief in God as the creator of all things, but not as a miracle worker or one that answers to prayer.
