The other is struggling with it.

She has back pain now, and can't lie down prone - too uncomfortable.

Regrets all the way around.

Very irresponsible for parents to allow their children to do this.

It is a decision only an adult should make, and only with complete information.

Any surgery is a risk. If not needed, it should be avoided.

Oh, wow. Glad you survived. I had a friend who's wife had her breasts removed and then had implants. She got real sick and almost died. She had them removed and is doing OK now. Well, other than her 'short term memory loss', she's doing fine. (they're in their 70s).

I had to have three expanders, four surgeries, that should have been my warning, but I was in a fog going through chemo. I advise women now to wait a year before making a decision.

Good to hear. 11 years sounds like you made it. Yeah, after 11 years and you're doing OK with an implant, maybe chancing another surgery isn't the way to go? I don't like Hospitals. My brother's friend went in to get a knee replaced, surgery went great, knee worked swell, ... contracted some incurable infection. Sat in a darkened room for 6 months on an IV. I haven't spoken to my brother in a while, so don't know the end results. You know the old saying "The surgery was a success, but the patient died".
