Default MAJOR AIRLINES to DHS: We refuse to transport immigrant kids away from their families

So the story goes, American Airlines was transporting several (girls) under the DHS umbrella to NY CITY to be put in foster care. DHS LIED to American Airlines about who the group of girls were. Said they were a soccer team. An airline stewardess talked to the girls and either she had an inkling or they just happened to tell her and she notified American as to who/what these kids were. I have no idea how many times this happened. This was story relayed on MSNBC an hour ago.

AMERICAN, United as well as 2 more have refused to carry these klds. DHS was bad mouthing them according to a memo read on air.

IS THIS WHERE ALL THE GIRLS ARE? Shipped off and away??

Airlines refuse to fly immigrant children separated from parents

American, Frontier and United airlines are refusing to fly immigrant children separated from their parents for the federal government, the latest resistance to the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy for undocumented border crossings.

All three airlines said they had no evidence that they have transported children under the policy yet. But they each said the policy runs counter to their corporate goals of connecting people.

“Based on our serious concerns about this policy and how it’s in deep conflict with our company’s values, we have contacted federal officials to inform them that they should not transport immigrant children on United aircraft who have been separated from their parents,” United CEO Oscar Munoz said. “This policy and its impact on thousands of children is in deep conflict with that mission and we want no part of it.”

Default October 2014 - No airline refused to carry these children away to foster homes

    Think so, grandpa Andrew?

Aided by her small Miami-based charity, American Fraternity, Sandigo cares for immigrant families broken by deportations like the Jiménezes, whom she provides with food, school supplies and shelter. If, and when, the parents are deported, Sandigo raises their children.

Sandigo’s work is remarkable, but she says she has no choice. “We are tired but we cannot stop doing what we’re doing,” she said. “Every single day the kids need to eat. Every day they need to go to school.”

Sandigo said she does her best to keep the families well-fed and happy given the circumstances, but limited resources and hundreds of children, it’s not always easy. She said a child once told her that he was excited to go to bed early. When she asked him why, he said: “I don’t think about being hungry when I’m sleeping.”

“This kills me,” she said. “But their smiles, they make it all worth it.”

Sandigo brought a group of children including Andrés to Washington DC, to rally for immigration reform.

She said the experience was positive; the children shared their stories with several lawmakers who seemed sympathetic enough. But after years of pushing for immigration reform, Sandigo knows the difference between a kind smile, a promise and action. She said she is being careful not to get her hopes up, again.

At the rally, a child clutching the microphone near his face with his small hands, addressed Obama directly. “I asked him to stop separating families because it hurts me,” he said.

I'm sorry, what is your argument here, obviously you have no aversion to the act and it merely for you comes down to who gets to.

So you say. Prove it by linking to these alleged "debunkings".

    I'll understand if you can't.

I don't recall expressing an opinion regarding "the act".

They were unaccompanied minors between the ages of 15 and 18..

Good for the airlines.. We still have a few real Americans in this country who see Trump for what he is.

Don's just looking out for them. So they won't wind up in one of our mass shootings like our own kids.
