Border Patrol Says It's 'Very Uncomfortable' with the Word Cages While Admitting 'It's Not Inaccurate': CBS

The agency expressed that it's "uncomfortable" with the accurate description.

Anchor Gayle King said during Monday's broadcast of CBS This Morning that Border Patrol had reached out to the network to complain about the coverage.

The agency expressed that it's "uncomfortable" with CBS using the word "cages" to describe how detained children are being incarcerated.

In a perplexing move, the agency confirmed that children are in cages while criticizing the coverage.

King said Border Patrol claimed the children weren't "being treated like animals" while caged.

"I know a lot of people looking at that don't entirely see the distinction," King added.

Until the last ten years, I was convinced that the United State would never support or entertain the notion of a proto-fascist government.

That was when I was naïve. There is a strong whiff authoritarianism in the rightwing of all countries. And certainly amongst the Trump boot lickers here. I'm not sure who you're talking about with "she said she would be president." I made no definitive statement about it. If Hillary said it, it's the same thing trump said about himself.
