In a perplexing move, the agency confirmed that children are in cages while criticizing the coverage.

King said Border Patrol claimed the children weren't "being treated like animals" while caged.

"I know a lot of people looking at that don't entirely see the distinction," King added.

Until the last ten years, I was convinced that the United State would never support or entertain the notion of a proto-fascist government.

That was when I was naïve. There is a strong whiff authoritarianism in the rightwing of all countries. And certainly amongst the Trump boot lickers here.
