Default Trump Border Family Seperation Policy Controversy

The problem with electing somebody who has no idea of how a functional family works is that he thinks attacking immigrant families makes America great again.

" (CNN)The White House's "zero tolerance" immigration policy and resulting separations of undocumented parents and kids is exploding into the most emotive and politically unpredictable test yet of President Donald Trump's effort to change the character of America.
As outrage grows over traumatic stories of families being torn apart, the big question this week in Washington is how long the controversial practice will be politically sustainable amid a wave of criticism.
A related issue is whether Trump will pay a political price for his false claim that the separations are the fault of Democrats, and not the result of his own administration's change in how undocumented immigrants are treated."

    CNN
It seems horrible, but Republicans are defending the controversial policy.

Has Trump finally gone too far?

The inhumanity of it is causing a huge stink.

Will Trump lose support for violating one of the most basic tenets of humanity?

Will Republicans finally abandon their shameful party-over-country apathy and stand up for righteousness?

Republicans are placed in a difficult position.

For them to continue to support Trump, they are now asked to support ripping children away from parents by the millions.

How can they believe they are on the moral high ground and still support this abominable policy?

Of course not. His slavish minions are lapping this up like kittens with spilled milk. This is exactly why they voted for him.

    I think some will.

Family values is a hot button issue.

Breaking up families can not be good policy.

People with strong family values cannot support Trump in this without being hypocrites.

It looks like Obama did not prosecute illegals- Trump is doing so.

This is easily fixed, but the Dems won't help -preferring to use the kids as political pawns

It is Trump and the cold hearted conservatives who are breaking up families, not Democrats.

    Trump takes responsibility for nothing.
