Default "Suit against President Trump, alleging his charity engaged in illegal conduct"

"The New York attorney general on Thursday filed suit against President Trump and his three eldest children alleging “persistently illegal conduct” at the president’s personal charity, saying Trump repeatedly misused the nonprofit — to pay off his businesses’ creditors, to decorate one of his golf clubs and to stage a multimillion dollar giveaway at his 2016 campaign events."

I thought it was the Clinton Foundation that was a crime racket?

Only the beginning, this may be a real thorn in the Trump empire, especially since this is a State investigation and outside of the Federal powers of the President. Got to love it if they are forced to open the books

"Draining the swamp," too funny, seems the swamp starts at the top

Trump is as dirty as sewer water mixed with pond scum.

He may end up regretting winning his election...even more than the intelligent ones among us regret it.

One story said he didn't contribute to his own charity since 2008.

Pres. Donald Trump gives an angry response during an interview (Screen capture)

President Donald Trump on Thursday angrily lashed out at the New York Attorney General’s office after it sued his family for allegedly conducting multiple illegal operations via the purportedly nonprofit Trump Foundation.

“The sleazy New York Democrats, and their now disgraced (and run out of town) A.G. Eric Schneiderman, are doing everything they can to sue me on a foundation that took in $18,800,000 and gave out to charity more money than it took in, $19,200,000,” the president wrote. “I won’t settle this case!”

The president wasn’t done ranting, however.
    .................................................. .........

The New York AG found multiple instances of alleged self-dealing within the Trump Foundation, as Trump signed off on using charity money to pay off lawsuits against his businesses — and even to buy a $10,000 portrait of himself.................................

Yeah, yeah, yeah, and in the meantime this one has now hit the Courts

The only people who refer to any of these investigations as "witch hunts" are those that think there might actually be some thing there and they know they are not going to like the results

Meanwhile ... DOJ drops charges against Trump inauguration protestors

The Department of Justice has dropped charges against eight more defendants for their alleged roles in protests during President Trump's inauguration, according to HuffPost.

Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia initially charged 200 people with felonies for their roles in the Inauguration Day protests from 2017. The defendants were charged with conspiracy to riot, and prosecutors had hoped to find them responsible for the $100,000 in damages to local businesses.

But prosecutors have yet to secure any convictions. Before this week's development, more than 100 people had already had their initial charges dropped.

On May 31, charges were dropped for 10 people after it was found that the prosecution had withheld evidence. And in early June, another protester accused of conspiring to riot was acquitted of charges.

Sure he will and as quickly as possible, this one could have legal IRS complications, and we know the last thing any Trump wants is the IRS involved in their lives
