Default Is Trump A Hypocrite For Wanting To Pardon Ali??

First of all, Ali's conviction was overturned by the Supreme Court so he doesn't have anything to pardon.

..but here is my question -- Ali was a famous athlete who used his platform to protest US policies -- including police brutality, racism and ultimately the war in Vietnam.

In comparison, NFL players are only protesting police brutality -- they never spoke out against any US foreign policies or did they ever speak out against the war in Afghanistan --

Aside from the stupidity of not knowing that Ali doesn't need a pardon, isn't it hypocritical to want to pardon Ali yet condemn NFL players for basically doing the same type of protesting??

trump just loves putting on a show of power. His followers probably believe Ali is in need of a pardon.

Equally hypocritical as well as incredibly ignorant of facts is Trump 'reaching' out to NFL players for assistance on pardons. How stupid is that?

The beauty of of his reaching out is the FINGER he gets in return.

    No one needs Trump's anything.

No one wants to be anywhere near him.

There is no conversation to be had here. Don's an idiot and we all know that.

\Interesting...NFL players are only protesting police brutality...
Now, it's not even that...it's just political...so much for caring about...what were they protesting again?

No one wants to be used as a photo op -- as much as Trump lovers claim it -- NFL players are not dumb, they know that when it comes to sentencing in non-violent drug convictions -- all of the policies put in place by Obama's justice department to address that -- has been reversed by Trump's Justice Dept.

So a photo op with Trump ain't changing that

Thanks for adding absolutely zero to the discussion -- Trump supporters being Trump supporters no doubt

.. that plus the ignorance of Trump not even knowing the argument. This is not about "their friends" .. this is not about pardons.

He knows that no NBA team is coming to the White House .. so he dis-invites them from a party he knows they were never going to attend.

    What a clown.
