    Default Happy 5th Anniversary

    What no flowers?

Happy anniversary war supporters. Let's take a minute today to think of the many hundreds of thousands who are not here with us today, for the celebration. The dead soldiers, the dead babies, the dead men and women who did nothing more than be in the wrong house during one of our "precision" bombing campaigns. It's a shame they have to miss a good party.

and a moment too, for those soldiers who did not die, but who came home and wish they had, and who have no limbs, no faces, only parts of their brains. And for all of the orphans who didn't die, but whose mothers and fathers did. Pass them the dip and let's get this party rolling.

And get ready you son of a bitches because your taxes are going up. You thought you were going to have this murderous war on the cheap, and stick the next generation with the bill, but it's all crumbling now, and you are going to pay, so get your wallets open and get ready to cough it up. God knows there will never be reparations paid for what you did to the Iraqi people, but those above mentioned soldiers are going to need care for the rest of their lives, and you motherfuckers are going to pay for it. Bet on it.

    Pass the beer!

Did you see he was claiming victory against Al Qaeda in Iraq? Spectacular. We RAWK!
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

    Well said.

I'm certainly glad war supporters have their priorities right.

The fifth anniversary is the "Wood" Anniversary. Expect your @$$ splinter in the mail, you are expected to go and "Sit on it!"

    And remember, "Yes we can!"

Great rant Darla! You need to remember though the flowers came early in this war when we were greeted as liberators in the streets of Iraq. Then later they set off fireworks by the side of the road as their liberators drove by. Too bad they drove so close to them and got hurt by our greatful formerly oppressed.

Did anyone hear Bush yesterday & today? "It was worth the blood & treasure...we liberated millions"...

I really don't know how anyone can support this man, or how anyone could have voted for him. I used to say "he's in over his head." It is so far beyond that now; we have someone who has a serious mental problem running our country.

Kind of like the "Star Trek" with the Nazi planet, and the old guy who spoke into the camera periodically who they kept heavily sedated?
