FOX NEWS: The corrupt FBI leadership, former Obama administration officials repeatedly told us there was no spying on the Trump campaign. That's what they're still telling us, even as they simultaneously admit that it actually happened.

you guys are nuts. When the FBI heard that Russians were interfering in the election, they got an informant. Not a spy, but guy with connections who they thought could ferret out the facts. He asked around to find out if it were happening. It is only a spy in trumps campaign, if Trumps people were guilty of collusion. Otherwise he was just asking questions and found no Trumpian connection. However he was not looking for Trumpies. he was looking for Russians. If he found Russians and trumps were there, then you should be worried.

Wow, the quality of our American Patriots(tm) has really deteriorated over the last few decades. It used to be that even we free-love hippies knew that the Russians were not our buddies. The conservatives were the bulwark against the enemies of America, sometimes even going overboard like they did in the McCarthy days. But we all felt safe, because we were all against the enemies of the country we all love. We could bicker badly with each other, but we had each other's back and we all wore invisible t-shirts that said "don't fuck with America." We had a brief revival of that togetherness following 9/11... anyone remember that?

But now? Thank Jeebus we FINALLY got rid of that horrible socialist Kenyan Muslim Marxist black guy in the WH and switched to Orange the New Black. Now the Russians are our bestest friends ever because 1) they saved us from another successful Clinton presidency, 2) they are now our capitalist friends, 3) Trump towers in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Vladisvostok, 4) Putin is so manly and hot half-naked on a horse not like wimpy Obama, 5) Russians interfering in our shit makes liberals freak out!

No wonder contards have an obsession with amassing piles of guns and ammo. They don't feel safe anymore. And it's all their own doing. They let the Trojan horse into the gates.

spy/informant -it's a distinction without a difference in terms of clandestine ops.
It's a smoke screen debate to take your eye off the fact that the investigation was targeting the Trump campaign.

If it was about truly targeting the Russians the IC would have given a so called "defensive" briefing to officials.
Defensive briefings are intended to warn government officials about specific concerns or risks.
At minimum they would have briefed Trump.

They did not because he was the ultimate target of Deep State shenanigans -not some Russians somehow somewhere
