Default Russian oligarch met with Michael Cohen at Trump Tower during transition

    The noose is getting tighter

A Russian oligarch who was questioned by special counsel Robert Mueller and recently sanctioned by the US visited President Donald Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen in Trump Tower during the presidential transition in January 2017, according to video reviewed by CNN and a person familiar with the matter.

The January 9, 2017, Trump Tower appearance by Viktor Vekselberg, which was also reported Friday by The New York Times, adds to the questions swirling over the payments to Cohen, which Mueller's team questioned Vekselberg about after the FBI stopped his private jet at a New York-area airport earlier this year.
Vekselberg, chairman of Russian asset manager Renova Group, was accompanied at Trump Tower by Andrew Intrater, who is Vekselberg's cousin and head of Columbus Nova. Vekselberg is Columbus Nova's biggest client.

As a side note, how come there are always Russians involved? Junior is having meetings and no matter where it is there is a Russian present. Cohen has a conversation in Trump Tower and Russians are present. Cohen's taxi partner is a Russian

It seems like the Russians are all over anything Trump, you never see French, British, Spanish, it's always Russians

Nothing. Just gives the rabid far left a reason to live another day of their obviously dreary lives.

That the Trumps sure do like to have meetings with Russians, hell, if the tables were reversed, if it were an Obama, the House conservatives would have had at least a dozen special Committees by now, the right wing media would be ablaze, and Hannity would be popping arteries on TV

So it proves nothing, except liberals want to pretend there was collusion.

Fools, you're as bad as birthers.

There is nothing theoretically wrong with meeting with Russian businessmen. I have to condition myself to resist the prevailing caricature that all Russians are inherently evil.

That said, there is a remarkable bounty of evidence that Trump is neck deep in Russian money, in the thrall of Russian oligarchs, not to mention the Kremlin was keenly interested in helping Trump become America's president.

Taken as a whole, we have every right to be suspicious that this Orange Hog might have nefarious connections to a wide range of Russian plutocrats....as well as perhaps having a penchant for getting urinated on by Russian prostitutes!

You'd like to think the noose is getting tighter. In reality, more Americans are realizing it's a nothing burger.
