Default north korea: plz come back we didnt mean it

    my analysis

I think everything was fixed the moment Pompeo went there and got the three hostages out.

All of this is kabuki to make it look like a bigger achievment. If it looks like a done deal then people will have lost interest when it happens. If there is a roller coaster then there will be more excitement.

Remember Trump spent a while in Pro wrestling and is good friends with Mcmahon.

Does anybody think Kim will give up his nuclear weapons? He is NOW recognized as a Nuclear Power (even if it is rather meek).
The US is now in the position of pleading for a bone to be tossed it's way. This is really humiliating, a Great Power being brought to it's knees by some little pipsqueak.

    Huh?

We/Trump have given up absolutely nothing. Trump is intent on going back to maximum pressure as usual, along with a credible threat of force. Meanwhile, Kim has released hostages and destroyed a nuke facility.

Kim is dealing from a place of profound weakness.

    Is that your perspective?
While the US is 'talking' they're cranking out as many nukes as they can. Sure, maybe half don't work, so that leaves the other half.
The time to make a pre-emptive strike was years ago. Now, we can expect a severe retaliation. Americans are too soft and over fed and comfortable to have the Resolve it takes to 'neutralize' Kim.

Let me go about this in a slow and deliberate way.

    Does Iran have Nukes?
When in your opinion is the best time to stop Iran from getting Nukes?
Would it be easier to have a Nuke-free Iran BEFORE it acquired Nukes?
Or would it be easier to have a Nuke-free Iran AFTER it has an arsenal of 50 nuclear weapons?

If the US Policy is a non-nuclear Korean Peninsula, we've dropped the ball many years ago. They now have an arsenal of 30 to 60 nuclear weapons.

Wow. Sounds like you could use a sedative. TDS?
Get a clue from the S. Koreans and whatever comes out of the North either ignore or take with a lot of salt.

I'd love to hear your explanation of how Trump canceling the meeting equals pleading "for a bone".

How many years ago? In other words, which past president should have preemptively struck NK? Clinton? Bush? Obama? Further back???

Actually, the biggest impediment to us winning wars is that shit stain liberals will actively be rooting for the other side if there's a Republican in the White House. No nads is a perfect example.

It’s not a binary thing, where it’s invade or do nothing of consequence.

NK is experiencing severe sanctions—Kim offered to meet with Trump for a reason. Kim can keep his nukes, but he will pay a severe price for it. And if he dares to launch even one, he’s dead. Apparently, he can no longer count on China to back him.

Kim is between a rock and a hard place—because of Trump.

How many of them will have launch capability within 20 minutes notice?
