I'm not a Catholic so I was curious to your response here. Does the pope speak with this same rhetoric and language?

    Righty-o.

Where there's a will, there's always a way. I have had friends who worked for the Forest Service, BLM, et al. who got to live in some sparsely populated, beautiful and scenic parts of the state. I have some science buddies who work at a marine lab located on a beautiful and sparsely populated section of the coast. They can see migrating whales from their office windows. I really do not think it gets much better than that!

Naa...The prefer imported London tweed and cheap Mexican labor now but both are lovely cities.

I would be shocked in the Pope had a twitter page like this:

No Derp! Fresh water. We have more of it than anywhere and people want it. Some western States have tried using the courts to gain water rights to the Great Lakes.

Hopefully the courts don't suck at geography. I've always found the topography of Maine to be interesting, because it is has the most fresh water deposits of any state.

The problem is, what California continues to grow and so does its economy? What if they outright just purchase the water? If they offer enough someone might sell.

Part of the problem is that most people here don’t understand just how valuable all that fresh water is.
