NFL owners are making a business decision. Players can try to negotiate it out, but under the terms they currently sign on for the owners have a business right to ban kneeling on the field.
No more NFL football for Colin Kaepernick...lol
As usual, you take the darkest view of Trump as possible in your analysis and it leads you astray.
If Trump is being cynical, it’s that he sees an issue that is a political winner so he positions himself accordingly. And he does this consistently: he did it mostly recently when he called MS-13, animals. The leftists in the media were triggered by the comment [many even going as far as to lie about what Trump said]; Trump’s instincts about how a majority of Americans feel about the issue are dead-on—so he doubled down on it.
And he does this sort of thing to the left ALL THE TIME lol.
Whether Trump truly cares about disrespecting the flag and/or the anthem or not is politically irrelevant—because he’s on the right side of the issue in that sense.
The man overcame the odds to be elected president for a reason.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017

They see it just fine. They just ignore it because Trump represents them in the deepest sense, more so than any other politician who comes to mind. It's now okay to be openly racist, supportive of white supremacists including Nazis, disdainful of immigrants, denigrating towards women, pseudo-Christian, dishonest, unfaithful, obese, and filled with rage.
