According to a recent change in the definition of "assault rifle" by Miriam Webster he did. But I get what you're saying.

I don't know what they gained politically from Parkland. Those that marched already hated guns and can you gain something when you approach it with a false premise.

When you change a definition to meet a situation, doesn't that invalidate the "new" definition?

I think liberals and conservatives alike have to agree that mass shooting, particularly at schools, are something we all have to live with like we do flu epidemics...or measles.

We are NOT going to appreciably limit guns...or gun ownership.

The country is FAR from ready for it.

So...let it happen. Piss and moan if you must; send thoughts and prayers if you must; join walk-outs and protests if you must...but bottom line is that NOTHING is going to appreciably change.

We Americans own this. For better or worse...we are known around the world as a violent, barbaric, killer society.

Visit America if you want (if you must)...but don't be surprised if you are shipped back in a body bag.

Yeah...the people of many countries think of a visit to America...like Americans think of a walking tour of Watts during the evening.

I never liked the term assault rifle to begin with. Tactical rifle seems more appropriate, since 99.99+ percent of people don't ever use them to assault anyone. But yeah, it was very suspicious how the definition was changed to fit a narrative.

Maybe a sufficient amount of thoughts and prayers were sent to mitigate the outrage?

High school kids can't organize their proms without help, much less national events. David Hogg has had his fifteen minutes of fame.
