dude used a shotgun - no? do you wanna ban shotguns?
If you want to stop school shootings, treat entrances like we do airports, or corporate lobby's
Limited access,and searching bags
But the kids don't like being forced to carry clear backpacks.

Imagine the furor liberal parents and the ACLU will raise if their darlings are subject to search.

Like your 2016 electoral predictions, your political analysis is way off.
You are completely incorrect about why this isn't dominating the news. Here is why
1) It happened a conservative stronghold and not a liberal mecca like Broward County
2) These kids aren't crisis actors like Boss Hogg
3) And this is the most important part so read carefully, he used a legally obtained sawed off shotgun and a .38 revolver and not the dreaded AR15
So as you can see this doesn't fit the gun grabbers narrative. All you guys say is "we don't want to ban shotguns" so you can't push it.
If the Republicans were smart they would use this as an opportunity to call out the democrat party for the lying pieces of shit they are. Now is the time to push actual school safety measures like arming teachers and putting armed police in school and hardening the schools.
Lefties don't know how to talk about this issue when there isn't an AR15 used.
You are welcome

I doubt that any gun-grabbing liberal gives a shit about kids. If they did, they wouldn't support many of the causes they do.
I suspect that Brad wants to play the "mental health" card so he has misapply the Baker Act (Florida Statute 394.451-394.47891 (2009 rev.) to target gun owners. The left loves to change definitions. Owning a gun (or wanting to) could be reclassified as a "mental disorder" that would require firearm confiscation with no other due process.
What Brad isn't telling you is that police are already using new "common-sense" laws to peremptorily confiscate guns in Florida, the state he infests. Future-crime is here.

BTW, in most states, if someone alleges that they feel threatened by you and is defined as a "domestic partner", a judge will likely grant a TRO and police will seize your guns. No proof of the allegation is necessary, and you will not have a chance to defend yourself or confront your accuser(s) in court prior to such seizure.
A conviction is not a requirement for such confiscation.

Here's the federal guidance: Even if a determination is made that prosecution is not warranted, steps should be taken to assure that the firearm is removed from the possession of the prohibited individual. Depending upon the situation, this might be done by having a local/state/federal law enforcement officer notify the individual of the application of the new law and offer to take temporary custody of the firearm. In other, more volatile situations, it may be necessary to obtain a search and seizure warrant to assure that the firearm is removed immediately.

If you think it can't happen, check out the federal law, and then check your state laws.
The other trick I think Brad and his ilk have up their sleeves under cover of "reasonable gun policies" and "stopping the gun lobby" is sneaky.
They know that a Constitutional Convention is unlikely to happen (or go their way if it did), so they that understanding product liability suits to gun makers and retailers whenever a criminal misuses a firearm is a good way to make the industry go bankrupt.
They'd like to hobble the NRA partly because of its lobbying power (although they don't seem to mind when the NRA donates to DEMOCRATS), and partly because it offers members cheap liability insurance.
They'd like to pass "common sense legislation" that would hold gun owners liable if their firearm is taken and used by someone else in commission of crime. They'd like to drive the NRA out of the insurance market. Then they can add taxes onto the premiums for the remaining firms offering coverage, and use additional regulation to force insurers to exit the market for covering gun owners.
By these means the left can disarm Americans who have committed no crime by an end run around the Second Amendment.
