There are no threads like that about Presbys, Lutherans, Methodists etc.

I always assumed the Catholic jokes were a proxy for putting down people from countries and cultures allegedly inferior to the Anglo Saxon-Germanic-Aryan gold standard of excellence. The Catholic church represented more backwards countries, Italy, Poland, the northern Balkans, Latin America, the Spanish world. Aka, the religion associated with the "less desirable" immigrants of the late 19th and early 20th century. I might be wrong, but that's my story and I'm sticking with it.

You must not have been looking in here for the past year. I won't even mention posters' names with their mocking and ridiculing of Christians, the Bible, cartoon stories, hate, venom, blasphemy. Mind you I'm not complaining, I'm just answering your question. I never even reply in kind with statements beginning with "well YOU are so (fill in the blank)" or "YOU are a (fill in the blank)". I just don't allow myself to be offended. It is what is and will always be that way. I'm not in charge of changing man's sinful human nature. It's how the world acts. I'm qualified to say that because I know...I was once that way. I save my righteous ANGER for the false prophets, false teachers and phony Christian hypocrites who rail against others for doing the exact same thing that THEY do themselves.

I don't start religious threads in the Political Forum, but enjoy arguing political topics and subjects rather than condemning the actual poster themselves.
