"The Senate Intelligence Committee — in a major split with its House counterpart — said Wednesday that it agrees with U.S. intelligence agencies' assessment that the Russian government tried to help Donald Trump and hurt Hillary Clinton by meddling in the 2016 election"
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ion/615716002/
So does this mean that conservatives will finally give up on the notion that the supposed "Russian hoax" may be "Russia, or China or another country or group, or it may be a 400 pound genius sitting in bed and playing with his computer?"
Conclusions sure do a number on the supposed "Deep State" conspiracies

What ever happened to that investigation into the millions of illegal voters voting out there on the east coast that cost the President the popular vote? The right will believe whatever warped reality they want to.

"Conclusions are not collusion's," got to say that one again, "conclusions are not collusion's," let me guess, the Senate's conclusion that "the Russian government tried to help Donald Trump and hurt Hillary Clinton by meddling in the 2016 election" doesn't prove collusion, am I correct?
Never said it did, rather that the right's lame arguments that Russia didn't involve itself, nor that Russia didn't work to benefit Trump, are now bogus, it wasn't a myth created by Democrats angry at losing the election, but rather a reality.
And, perhaps even bigger, that those intelligence entities that conservatives claimed were part of some mythological "deep state" out to get Trump have now been proven to be accurate, not conspiratorial as the right echoed, in their intial appraisal of the election

I could never figure out why Russia would prefer Trump over Hillary.
Trump has screwed them several times already—-more than Obama/Hillary did in 8 years.
Just recently with nixing the Iran deal. I don’t get it, unless it was just personal with Hillary. Which is kind of believable.

Meh, Russian influence on the election has been hyped for partisan purposes.
The two campaigns spent over a billion dollars between them. Not to mention the nearly countless variables: Trump’s personality, use of Twitter, he being an outsider, Hillary’s Deplorables screw up, first woman candidate etc etc etc.
The influence of the side stories alone would dwarf anything the Russians could pull. Whatever influence the Russians had on the election—it isn’t measurable.
Which shouldn’t be surprising.

Oh yes, this election was screwed at the primary level. I cannot really explain why I so don't like Hillary, I just don't. I could never imagine a nominee from the Republicans that would seriously make me think about voting for her. But Trump? unbelievable. I just did not vote.
