    Hello Taichiliberal,

Tai Chi is wonderful. I bet there are ill-informed conservatives here who have no idea what Tai Chi is. And if they bother to find out, they probably foolishly think it's dumb.

From your The Hill link: (and thanks for that)

"White House chief economic adviser Larry Kudlow defended the recently passed two-year budget that the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) says will increase the national debt and deficit even though in 2009 he attacked the Obama administration for doing the same thing."

"Kudlow told Burnett that the Trump administration doesn’t believe the CBO’s projection that the GOP tax cuts and spending bill will increase the national debt. "
Kudlow is wrong. The Trump administration policy has already increased the debt. $21 Trillion and rising fast. The deficit is now $750 Billion and on track to be over a Trillion. That is reckless during good economic times. That is the only time we can pay down the debt. We should be taxing enough to eliminate the deficit, not increase it to a trillion. That trillion is added right on to the debt, which cannot be reduced during a recession made more possible by irresponsible government budgeting. This is creating a huge economic mess which the next administration will have to clean up.

"He added that his issue with the Obama program was that “it was all spending,” mainly for welfare programs and social spending that he didn’t think would lead to growth."
Except what Obama did DID lead to growth. Just look at what we have now. Trump is taking credit for the growth ushered in by the Obama administration, growth which occurred despite rich white conservatives holding back on investments until the day after the election. Growth which occurred under Obama for ~3 months before Trump could sign a single EO, and then continued after Trump began taking credit. Credit, which was handed to Trump the day after the fake 'biggest inauguration ever,' for a recovery President Obama rightly gets ample credit for.

Trump's economic policy is a house of cards which is growing more and more precarious every month. The cyclical economic winds threaten a disastrous crash looming.

"While Trump campaigned on reducing the debt, he and the GOP-led Congress have made the deficit worse in the past year, according to the CBO calculations. The massive tax cut, especially for corporations, is expected to cut government revenue by $1.3 trillion over the next decade, the CBO says. After taking into account rising interest rates, the tax bill passed in December will cost the country $1.9 trillion over that time period."

    Washington Post

""Now growth is healthy, unemployment is extremely low (4.1 percent) and confidence is strong. In times like these, the U.S. government has almost always narrowed the budget deficit — or even runs a surplus, as it did from 1998 to 2001, the end of the dot-com boom. But instead of improving the government’s budget situation, Congress is going the opposite direction and adding to it.

“We are running up the national credit card when everything is going our way economically,” said Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. “It shows Congress has lost any will to make hard choices to fix near-record debt levels we’re already facing.”""
The Post is being too nice. Trump actually said during the campaign that he could completely ELIMINATE THE ENTIRE DEBT, if elected. He said he would do it in 8 years. ZERO DEBT. This is a far cry from his big words.

What a LET-DOWN President Trump has been!

And what a DISASTER he is making of our budget.

How many huge corporations which have super-rich executives and Board Members employ people who earn so little that they qualify for socialist government assistance programs? Under OBAMA it was worse.

Did you know that the definition the government uses for 'Employed' to compute the 'Jobless Rate' means any worker who works at least one (1) hour per WEEK? Yet you had no issue with it under Obama.

Now we know that there are plenty of executives who earn so much that they could live on one hour of pay per week just fine, but people in the 99.9% can not. Class envy buffoonery.

Trump serves the 0.1%, the people who 'just got a lot richer' at Mar-A Lago. Whiny Class envy Bullshit.

Trump does nothing for the 99.9%. Whiny Class envy Bullshit.

I have to laugh that whiny leftist morons, who defended BillyBob banging interns and abortions, are now the champions of morality and deficit hawks. Damned funny bullshit.
