He fired Comey because he did not bow to his powers. He demanded a vow of loyalty. When Comey did his job and denied that, he was savaged by Trump and the right. Then fired. Those lines are drawn between the branches for a reason. Trump does not recognize any. He does what ever he wants. We will need series of reforms to protect our institutions from an out-of-control executive, that’s clear.
