    Default NFL Draft

LOL With the 1st Pick the Browns take the fifth rated QB in Baker Mayfield and under sized CB Denzil Washington. They past on the top 4 QB’s and the top two rated athletes in the draft in Barclays and Chubb.

My colleagues at work who are Brown fans are going to be completely disgusted. LOL

Minka Fitzpatrick would have been a better defensive pick, for sure.

But the Browns will be the Browns.

I wouldn’t get carried away. He’s good but no team in the nfl is going to take a safety with 4.6 40 speed over the fastest man in the draft.

I think they would do well to take a man who can play any position in the secondary and who was a 3 year starter under Saban. And some have said Minka is the best athlete in the draft. And they weren't in Tuscaloosa when they said it.

The Falcons made out though. Calvin Ridley joining Julio ? Matt Ryan better keep his arm loose.

The NFL had Barclay, Chubb, and Ward listed as the top three athletes.

I don’t think you understand 3D. It’s Justice. He should have never planted that flag at Ohio Stadium. His punishment for that is he gets to play for the Browns.

I'm sure you do...I'm not sure how I'll be able to deal with the season...(especially with a diehard Steelers fan in the house who thinks it's funnier than you do. It's well known that I've never recovered from the flag planting)
Although with my Brownies, dealing with the season is always a challenge...
(ps....wasn't it awesome to see Ryan Shazier on stage?

Indeed it was. He may never play again but to see him walking was like the best thing ever.

I still don’t understand the Browns thinking. They could have taken Barclay with the first pick who would make an imeadiate impact and still picked Mayfield at #4. I mean Ward is no mean pick. His ability to rotate his hips and fly down the field is remarkable and who knows Mayfield has made a career in college proving people wrong. He’s the best salmon ever.

Having said that to pass on Barclay when you have both the 1st and 4th pick is hard to get your head around.

A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.
