    Default Pompeo confirmed

no thanks to the never seen McCain who clings to office with a death grip.

I think a couple of Dems that were up for re-election supported him.

Shocking, a GOP candidate nomimated by a GOP President approved by a GOP Senate, they always act as if the given is a major accomplishment

The question becomes why this Administration has such a difficult time achieving that which should be routine, perhaps it is the quality of candidates they nominate, or the fact they don't properly vet them before put to a vote

Pompeo has said bigoted things in the past that should have stopped him. The CIA is not a diplomatic post. This is, and he lacks diplomacy . News travels around the world . Muslim states know what he thinks and has said. They know he has been positive about ACT. But Trump picks such horrible people, that this is acceptable by his standards.

perhaps it is constant Democratic obstructionism on a historical scale never before seen for nominess.

John McCain is dead weight of course.
The FBI leaked info was a raw file, never verified, never backed by an accuser. just leaked

Wrong on every count. Obstructionism does not cause them to drop out. Trump has over 100 positions that he has not even gotten around to nominees yet. Trump shows his lack of interest and lack of ability every day.he has trusted his huge gut instead of vetting. Thgt is why his mismatches have quit. They are exposed in front of congress. https://www.politico.com/story/2018/...cancies-454408

its ok. The muslims know what we think of them anyway. Our Sunni allies know that we are allies with them because of the benefits each side provides.

How can it be "Democrat obstructionism" when the GOP has a majority in the Senate?

And it is always ironic when you hear a conservative even mention "obstructionism," remember Mitch's commitment, "we're going to do our best to make sure he is a one term President," plus the Democrats would have to go at an Olympian pace to beat the records the GOP set in filibusters/closure during the Obama era

Not "obstructionism," rather bad nominees, mere fact he's already lost nearly a third of his original cabinet and even today several cabinet heads are under fire proves it

You do know that the overwhelming majority of terrorists, past and present, were Sunni, more terrorism traced back to those Sunni allies your putting your faith in than any other nation in the area

1 vote majority, and John McCains dead weight negates a majority.

The delays are the obstructionism..yes the Repubs did too - but not on a scale of da resistance

Wrong, closure/filibuster under Trump pales compared to that Obama experienced

    http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank...ture_counts-1/

And the Trump Administration currently has a record number of positions without even nominees, Australia nor South Korea have US ambassadors, fact is Trump doesn't care, and the nominees sent are usually unvetted, it's not obstructionism, incompetency is a better explanation

So in addition to Iraq War Architect John Bolton, Trump has put another unrepentant supporter of the Iraq War and noted torture enthusiast in charge of America's foreign policy and national security.

Were you just kidding around when you said you voted for Trump because he was an anti-war peacenik?
