Default If Current Laws Had Been Followed, There Would Have Been No Waffle House Shooting

As often happens in the aftermath of highly publicized shooting incidents, blame has already been placed on the lack of “common-sense gun control.” But, once again, this blame is misplaced—had already-existing laws been properly followed and enforced, this individual would not have had access to a firearm.

Gun haters have a tendency to confuse something not being in place with something not being enforced.

On a side note, I was going through the gun safe last night organizing a few things and not one gun the Liberals say is to blame for shooting fired itself at me.

Got to love it, an NRA website

Common sense laws, why did the five the guns to the father in the first place obvious he had no control over the kid in his own house.

Sure there exists some NRA approved law that would make it next to impossible for the Gov't to just keep the guns so they probably thought it wasn't worth the effort

The mistake made was the authorities took the word of a lying gun nut when he said he'd keep the guns away from his criminal son.

And every gun nut who sniggers to himself about "fibbing" to the authorities if they were faced with similar circumstances is every bit the criminal that they claim illegal immigrants are.
What kind of country have we become?

One in which federal prosecutors can take “evidence” before a “grand jury,”

and that grand jury can “vote to indict” a former president for 91 alleged “crimes”?

If Taylor Swift just didn't harass him, there would have been no shooting.

Trump's one piece of gun-related legislation undid restrictions aimed at mental illness

on February 28, 2017, he signed a measure nixing a regulation aimed at keeping guns out of the hands of some severely mentally ill people.
We have the intellect to imagine the finality of our own demise but do not have the sophistication to overcome our survival instinct and accept it.
Solution? Magical thinking and childish promises of everlasting life.
    Ergo, religion.

    rac·ist
    rāsəst/noun
a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another.
Ask yourself honestly if this describes what you believe to be true.
If the answer is yes, you are a racist.
