We've built a giant wall of separation between church and state, and we made Mexico pay for it.

Believers always threaten those who don't believe in their mythology with God's revenge. You believe in a revengeful God. I don't. Whose the POS now?

No, it is totally false. Go read the actual bill: https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/f...01720180AB2943

It only deals with conversion therapy as a commercial activity. It has nothing to do with books or church beliefs.

Do you really believe that they wouldn't also prosecute a church that offered conversion therapy for free? If you do, you are a fool. Besides, what gives them the right to decide? If someone wants conversion therapy, who are they to say they cannot have it. This bill is unconstitutional.

This would not apply to individuals or churches teaching conversion therapy; it is only as a commercial activity.

I don’t have anything much to say about this but I ask you who think it incredible that “religious” people could vote for a scumbag like Trump to [honestly] consider:

Who would be more likely to support legislation such as this? Hillary Clinton (or any other national democrat) or Donald Trump (or any other national republican).

I think if you are honest with yourself you can see (I didn’t say “agree with”) their point of view and the choice they were left with...and often feel they are left with.

I didn't vote for Trump. I voted against Hillary, for obvious reasons.
