Evolution is at best "pseudo science" as its based upon philosophy rather than facts of science. There is no fossil record of anything, ever, EVOLVING from one species to another, just as there is no evidence of life, ever having the capacity to evolve from dead matter. Simply because the BIBLE reveals a true history, the good, the bad and even the ugly over the chronological history of the Jewish faith does not indicate that God ever endorsed anything other than righteousness and justice. For example...the slavery mentioned in the Bible was a form of imprisonment for the enemies of the nomadic tribes of Israel. Rather than place someone to death they would allow them to become slaves, eventually earning their way into Jewish society.....or slavery was indorsed for proven crimes. They had no prisons the way Modern America makes slaves or indentured servants of those charged and convicted with crimes today....slavery in one form or another has been in existence for countless generations. And the United States has the greatest population of indentured servants that are wards of the STATE (the prison system) than any other nation on earth.

As far as the sacrifice or killing of Children.....no child has ever been sacrificed by the God of the Holy Scriptures. The reason that God told the Jewish kings to kill or wipeout entire tribes of the enemy was for the reason of JUSTICE. Those same enemies were guilty of sacrificing (burning at the stake) their own children or the children they had stolen from tribes such as Israel, sacrificing them to false pagan gods....like Baal. It was better for those children to die as infants and find eternal salvation by the Laws of God then in effect than have them grow into adults and become brainwashed into the cults of paganism where their enteral souls would be lost forever.

Simply deny that the modern day form of slavery by the state is not the prison system. Not one of those individuals have willingly given up their freedoms to become wards of the state...a rose by any other name.

As far as you charging the God of Scriptures of condoning RAPE....that's due to your parroting of ignorant individuals that take certain passages out of context when the explanation exists in other parts of the scriptures. As was said...simply because there is true history of that time period does not make everything mentioned in that history as an endorsement by God.

The passage that is often misused to charge the Jews of the Bible with condoning RAPE is found in the Book of Numbers 31:25-40. This passage states that some 32 women were taken by the Jews and given over to the priests to be held responsible. Some.....fill in lines that are not there and conclude that the priests used these females for sexual pleasure. All one need to do to find the truth of what happened to those 32 women is read the passage that tells you. (Deut. 21:10-14) there Moses is specifically declaring what is to be done with captured females. If you desire one of the captured females.....you must MARRY her....legally under the Jewish Laws, of course after a proper period of having her adjust to her surroundings, "When you go out to war.....and you see among the captives a beautiful woman, and desire her and would make her your wife.......then you shall bring her home to your house....shave her head, trim her nails....she shall put off the clothes of her captivity, remain in your house and mourn her father and mother (her former family most likely killed in battle) for a full month...after that you may go to her and be her husband....and she shall be your wife."

The God of the Holy Scriptures never condoned any type of sex outside the bonds of marriage...especially rape.
