Choice means having two or more possibilities. Nothing more, nothing less. You admit you get to choose so you have no argument.

Have you ever heard someone say "I don't have a choice but to go to work"? That's not true. That the results of making a bad/wrong choice can produce a devastating result doesn't mean a choice didn't exist.
