    Default Should parents be licensed?

Is it time that parents be required to be licensed?

There are sites that give estimates that around 5 children die from abuse, EVERY SINGLE DAY in the US.

Is it time for COMPREHENSIVE PARENT CONTROL?

Should people who want to be parents be expected to pass a background check, have to apply for a permit, be required to attend parenting classes, have to pass a proficiency test, etc; for every child they want to have, before they're allowed to have them?

    If YES, why?
    If NO, why?
SEDITION: incitement of resistance to or insurrection against lawful authority.

Only if your house had, at any point in time, axles and a tongue.

OK, folks. The saying goes that there is no such thing as a stupid question, but the RW fucktards on this forum prove that old saw is false. This is another classic example.

Of course not. Why should we punish good parents for the actions of the irresponsible? That would be akin to "common sense gun control". The punishing of the law abiding for the actions of the criminal.

But if it saves the life of one child, where's the harm and how is it a punishment?

Can't tell if you're serious, I'm thinking you are using hyperbole in an attempt to make some sort of point. Why not just make your point?

Since when are free nations in the business of "allowing" their citizens to procreate?

I am interested if any of our JPP liberals feel that this would stop child abuse.
