I used to work with many doctors trained in Africa who were in the US to get into US residency programs.. They were amazing.. The scored high in their ECFMGs and the were all fluent in 3 to 4 languages.

True, but those are not measured by IQ tests. I don't think most students are given IQ tests today and if they are the results are not made public; on the other hand,
achievement tests, based on knowledge and not IQ, are widely given and reported.

Regardless of whether it is a "corporate metric" (not sure what that means), achievement tests is what are administered in schools to determine if students have learned what is expected by local/state standards or compared to national samples. Schools can teach basic math but not IQ. IQ tests are given individually one-on-one by licensed psychologists and most people never take one.
