It should be obvious to anyone why conservatives and libertarians should be against Trump. He has no grounding in belief. No core philosophy. No morals. No loyalty. No curiosity. No empathy and no understanding. He demands personal loyalty and not loyalty to the nation. His only core belief is in his own superiority to everyone else. His only want is exercise more and more personal power.
He is an antithesis to basic principles of self-governance. He is an antithesis to restrained power through law. He is an antithesis to law and order. In short there is nothing about him that would be the least bit attractive to libertarians, liberals, progressives or conservatives. His only appeal is to people who believe they can use him to gain the power they want or to people who think the nation needs a daddy to lead them.
