Now does that make any sense? Who votes for people with different opinion?

You have severe comprehension issues. Read the second sentence of my post.

    Untrue, to a point.

While we elect those people to office they are the ones running it, not THE PEOPLE; because our Government is not a Democracy.

itsKingD must think those that win vote exactly the way those putting them into office would vote if we were a Democracy.

If the people don't run the government, how has legislation come this far in recent year? It surely wasn't due to them.

That would depend on who agrees with the "legislation" that's been passed.

I guess you're saying that agree with every law that's been passed in recent years; but then "recent years" is a subjective time period.

    Not necessarily.

There have been laws passed I'm sure many people don't agree with, but that dosent deny the fact that it took people to get those bills approved.

OHHHHHHHHHHH, you mean like California's Proposition 8!!

And it doesn't take the people to get bills approved; because the "Government" is going to do what they think is best FOR GOVERNMENT and the people be damned.

Plus you refused to respond to:

    Again. Not necessarily.

Depending on how politicians vote, theres different contributing factors.

Not all politicans vote regardless of the public demand.
