Michael Flynn will speak publicly Friday for the first time since pleading guilty to lying to the FBI to endorse a far-right Republican candidate challenging Rep. Maxine Waters.
The former Trump national-security adviser will be attend an event on behalf of Omar Navarro, who is once again challenging Waters for California’s 43rd congressional district, two years after losing to her by more than 50 points.

Flynn, who cut a deal with the FBI and is cooperating in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe, joins a curious cadre of Navarro supporters, including former presidential candidate Herman Cain, longtime Trump acolyte Roger Stone, and former Pussycat Dolls member Kaya Jones.

Navarro told ABC News that Flynn will endorse him and that the two men have been communicating online. “We talked to each other for two hours. We got along really well,” Navarro said of his interaction with Flynn when he traveled to Washington D.C. for the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Navarro, a 28-year-old Torrance resident who welcomed former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio at a fundraiser Thursday night on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, pleaded guilty last fall to the misdemeanor charge in Orange County. Omar Navarro, a fringe GOP activist in the South Bay making his second bid to unseat entrenched Rep. Maxine Waters, is on probation until March for a criminal conviction stemming from his use of an electronic tracking device he attached to his wife’s car, the Daily Breeze has learned.

Navarro, a 28-year-old Torrance resident who welcomed former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio at a fundraiser Thursday night on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, pleaded guilty last fall to the misdemeanor charge in Orange County. He was sentenced in September 2016 to a day in jail and 18 months probation and ordered to take an anger management course, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office confirmed. His probation does not end until March 13, according to court records.

Navarro, who has never held elected office, is an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump who was trounced by Waters in 2016 in her heavily Democratic 43rd Congressional District that stretches from Westchester to Torrance and inland to South Los Angeles. Waters has become something of a liberal hero for her outspoken criticism of Trump.

Navarro, who resigned from his volunteer post on the Torrance Traffic Commission earlier this year when faced with censure or removal for his political activities in various Los Angeles County cities, served as second vice president of the rogue Beach Cities Republican Club until July. The county’s GOP leadership revoked the charter of the club earlier this year for attacking members of its executive committee and violating its bylaws....

A famously corrupt—and seemingly untouchable—congresswoman renowned for abusing her power to enrich family members is set to hold a ranking position on the powerful House committee that oversees the nation’s financial services industries.

Democrats have chosen a scandal-plagued college, veteran Congresswoman Maxine Waters, to be the ranking member on the House Financial Services Committee despite her many transgressions over the years. A few years ago Waters was investigated by the House Ethics Committee for steering $12 million in federal bailout funds to a failing Massachusetts bank (that subsequently got shut down by the government) in which she and her board member husband held shares. The steering committee assigns fellow party members to House committees and advises party leaders on policy. In a statement announcing the steering committee’s new members a few days ago, Pelosi bragged that they “reflect the diversity, energy, bold ideas, and creative thinking of all House Democrats , and embody our Democratic commitment to create jobs, strengthen the middle class, and grow the economy.”

It wouldn’t be right to part without also noting some of Maxine Waters’ international accolades. She has made worldwide headlines for her frequent trips to communist Cuba to visit her convicted cop-assassin friend, Joanne Chesimard, who is also known by her Black Panther name of Assata Shakur. Chesimard was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted by a jury of the 1979 murder of a New Jersey State Trooper. With the help of fellow cult members, she escaped from jail and fled to Cuba.

Outraged U.S. lawmakers insisted she be extradited but Waters always stood by her side, likening the cop-assassin to civil rights leader Martin Luther King. In fact, she wrote Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro a letter to assure him that she was not part of the group of U.S. legislators who voted for a resolution to extradite the cop murderer. They PREFER and will go down any scummy road to support REPUBLICANS. It's that simple. MOST of its funding comes from Richard Mellon Scaife--who went to Arkansas to 'find dirt on Clinton'.
