    Default 1984 and school walkouts

This "school walkout" is straight out of "1984".

When it's School sanctioned, it isn't actually a walkout. It's actually students conforming to the government authority by speaking a government-approved opinion in a government-approved venue. And that opinion is that they should have their own rights taken away by the government whose opinion they are expressing.

You have students marching with the sanction of the state to demand less freedom from the state... and everyone is pretending that their doing so is somehow brave and rebellious.

Ohio student suspended for staying in class during walkouts

HILLIARD, Ohio — An Ohio high school student says he tried to remain nonpolitical during school walkouts over gun violence and was suspended for a day because he stayed in a classroom instead of joining protests or the alternative, a study hall.

Hilliard senior Jacob Shoemaker says school isn't the place for politics, and he wasn't taking sides Wednesday.
The district says it's responsible for students' safety and they can't be unsupervised.
Jacob's citation for not following instructions was shared online by a friend, prompting a flood of messages to his father.
    Put blame where it belongs
ATF decided it could not regulate bump stocks during the Obama administration.
It that time," the NRA wrote in a statement. "The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."
The ATF and Obama admin. ignored the NRA recommendations.

You need a civics lesson... Mass murder in schools is a serious issue and these kids are the victims.. They have the right to protest.

It's as serious an issue as islamic terrorism but I bet you don't want to vet refugees.

your likelyhood to be involved in a school shooting is almost nill. there are 50 million students.

This is not connected to the opening post. You have spun the big lefty wheel of fortune to see what random lefty talking point to post instead of an answer.

It looks like you were unable to reply with an answer that addresses the opening post. You have spun the big lefty wheel of fortune to see what to post instead of an answer. Go ahead, spin it again.

Do you have a right under the 2nd amendment to own an AR-15?

Let's see if you can actually break down his opening post and show where it is flawed. Just calling it dumb or asinine is grade school stuff that the big lefty wheel of fortune has all over it. If he has not read 1984, you should be able to assemble a solid post that destroys his opener.
