Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford had an affair with President Trump a decade ago, and she's arguing in court that she's free to discuss it because while she signed a nondisclosure agreement just days before the 2016 election, Trump never did. The interview has already been taped, and Daniels' lawyer, Michael Avenatti, tweeted that Trump's lawyers were trying to shit on the Constitution and stop it from airing.
Judge Juan M. Merchan wrote that Trump “appears to take the position that his situation and this case are unique and that the pre-trial publicity will never subside. However, this view does not align with reality.”
