The Russia -Trump investigation began over 5 years ago because Russian money laundering in the US lead directly to Trump Towers in NYC.

It never was a Russia-Trump investigation you moron. It was a Russia meddling investigation the FAKE media and DNC morphed it into the asinine and FALSE narrative of "collusion".

The evidence is obvious that the only party that actually did any colluding was the Clinton Campaign and the DNC. They stupidly and smugly believed that they could violate all laws and the Constitutional rights of others because Clinton was going to win and they could just quietly sweep their violations under the rug.

The DNC servers/e-mails weren't hacked by the Russians.
