When someone is killed by a car doing say 90 mph, why don't the families of the victims sue the car maker for selling a car DESIGNED TO BREAK THE LAW??. Answer is people do that but the auto company hands them a ton of money to drop the suit and thus avoid negative publicity for the industry. The industry does not want people to drive slower and thus safer. Car crashes means car sales.

Everything serves a purpose.....otherwise no one would buy or want anything.....first and foremost, guns can and do protect us.....are they mis-used, of course.....
So is just about everything else but we live with all of them....including cars that kill 10's of thousands every year....EVERY year....
You do want to save the lives of 10's of thousands don't you?.....just as we all want to save the lives of those murdered with guns, even if its only a fraction of auto deaths....

We don't have a right to own cars but the Constitution gives us the right to own a firearm.....
