To celebrate the US Women National Hockey Team's gold medal victory this evening, someone went to goaltender Maddie Rooney's Wiki page and edited her position on the team.

    That's awesome.

I stayed up late to watch that game last night - glad I did. One of the best sporting events I've witnessed. 2 really evenly matched teams, both playing their hearts out, and the U.S. just barely squeaked it out. Just amazing.

And thank god they did - after the Canadians beat them in that heartbreaker in the last Olympics, it feels like things have evened out a bit. That was a well-earned gold...

The other fun part about last evening was glancing around at the Canadians who were on shift with me and seeing their disappointment. Then the US Mens Curling Team beat the Canadians.
