A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

So it's been almost 2 days, since this thread was started, and the only liberal responses that can be said to address the question is one from Norberg, who wants all semi-auto's banned and from archives, who says to "Regulate any weapon that has the capability to murder numbers of people in a mater of seconds", which leaves the meanings of "capacity to murder" and "a matter of seconds" open to individual definitions.

I really thought that more of the left would jump at the chance to define what they want; but it looks like they are afraid of how they'll appear.

Interesting they said arms instead of specific weapons....

That is like asking a lying leftist to be honest about their agenda to ban ALL weapons.

In other words, a total ban on ALL weapons. Got it!

I am amused by the moronic argument that suggests that by banning all weapons, lunatics will not find a way to get them and use them.

France has some of the strictest laws on the planet regarding personal weapons, and yet, terrorists were able to smuggle in grenades and fully automatic weapons. How can that be right? DUH!

    I KNOW - I KNOW.

It's because of the lax gun laws in the surrounding countries.

Great point, whatever measures get passed should encompass all firearms.

Not sure what you mean; because my scenario involved liberals getting their way and all "assault rifles" being banned, so what measures should get passed?
