Notice the date you fucking retard?

    From your cite:
"While President Donald Trump says he believes Russian President Vladimir Putin is sincere when he denies that Russia sought to interfere in the 2016 U.S. election, the president said he personally believes the conclusion of the U.S. intelligence community -– and not Putin -– that Russia did in fact meddle in the election."

WTH does that mean, Praisekok? He believes that Putin didn't know about the election meddling?

    Plausible.

There is Russia the nation state and Russian citizens. In either event, when Trump mocks ‘election meddling’ or ‘collusion’ he is referencing Trump/Russia collusion. Which is mock-worthy.

He’s no less sloppy with the terms than the talking heads in the media. It’s much ado about very little.

Re: the bolded - when did you become his interpreter?

When he mocks "collusion," he's referencing Trump/Russia collusion. When he mocks "election meddling?"

I read that as him mocking the idea that they meddled. Sorry 'bout that.

That was a big oopsy. But, you'll go w/ whatever quote you can google because it helps you keep the blinders one. As I said, I'm really not sure what Trump has done to inspire such blind loyalty - but it's definitely there.
Trump said he took Putin at his word that Russia did not seek to interfere in the US presidential election last year, despite a finding from US intelligence agencies that it did. The fraught relations between the two leaders was underscored anew when Putin's spokesman initially said election meddling did not come up when they spoke, even though Trump said it did.

"Every time he sees me, he says, 'I didn't do that,' " Trump said. "And I believe, I really believe, that when he tells me that, he means it."

Thats quite different than saying 'I believed he didn't interfere with the election"....what he said he believed is that he believes "he(Putin) means it"
That, to me is a very diplomatic way of not calling the leader of foreign nation a flat out liar to his face, while not saying you actually believed him........you do understand what 'diplomatic' means don't you....careful not to offend or upset the other person unnecessarily, tactfully worded....
But then, you have Trump derangement so my clarification will mean nothing to you....

I'd be more concerned if I hear our president whisper to the Russians, "This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility."

ATF decided it could not regulate bump stocks during the Obama administration.
It that time," the NRA wrote in a statement. "The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."
The ATF and Obama admin. ignored the NRA recommendations.

I mean, seriously - just look at the tapdancing you have to do in order to defend a pathological liar.

    It looks very tiring.

Well, I didn't actually personally hear what Trump said, but those are the words quoted by the news media......

Why don't you take it as he is denying any Trump "election meddling".....? TDR perhaps ?

It's called diplomacy, bottom line he accepted the assessment of the intelligence community months ago in fact an earlier post shows it was more than a year ago:

President Obama struck back at Russia on Thursday for its efforts to influence the 2016 election, ejecting 35 suspected Russian intelligence operatives from the United States and imposing sanctions on Russia’s two leading intelligence services. The administration also penalized four top officers of one of those services, the powerful military intelligence unit known as the G.R.U.

And what does MAGA Trump do? Almost a year later: "President Donald Trump says he believes Russian President Vladimir Putin is sincere when he denies that Russia sought to interfere in the 2016 U.S. election."

    Putin is laughing at him.

I've never given much credence to the suggestion that the Kremlin has some dirt on Trump that they could use to influence him. I know the IC was wary of him because they suspected something of the sort, but I didn't believe it.

Now I'm not so sure. In his dealings with Putin it's like he's juggling a hot potato. There could be something badly wrong.

I always thought that whole gazing into Putin's baby blues tale relayed by Dumbya, was more Bush's homo-erotic fantasies bubbling to the surface, than it was about posturing America's geopolitical interests.
