Default PA supreme court announces new congressional map!

    New, fair map:

    Old, gerrymandered, electoral fraud map:

Look at how the new one mainly just follows county boundaries! And it will result in a 9-9 partisan split with a 50-50 congressional vote. Really makes Republican claims that you'd have to do horrible "gerrymandering" to achieve partisan symmetry, and that people had just gerrymandered themselves and nothing could be done about it, seem absurd.

Gone are all those horrific necks stretching from slices of blue cities to areas of hickville with slightly higher population.

Translation: Democrats always run to the courts to get their way. The court overstepped. But I am sure if this were done to democrats in the opposite direction, they would squeal

Nice. I hope this is done across the nation. Fair for everyone.

Yes. You should always care about unlawful actions by courts. This is a legislative issue not a judicial one

If fair districts were drawn? Yeah right. I actually believe in democracy, you just believe in your ideology.

The legislature doesn't have unlimited authority to draw districts however it wants. It only had authority to draw them in accordance with the constitution. When it draws districts that are in violation of the constitution, the body responsible for enforcing and interpreting the constitution had the right to address the constitutional violations.

    Partisan gerrymandering violates the constitution.

When democracy is overturned through gerrymandering, the courts have a responsibility to restore democracy. Of course the democrats cannot rely on the legislature, which is a rigged undemocratic body that bears no relation to Pennsylvania and its people.

Translation: You're a moron who likes gerrymandering because it primarily benefits Republicans.

The legislature created the horrible mess in the first place.

I'll take your tactic and claim that if the Democrats had rigged the districts so they cemented a permanent majority, you'd be screaming like a banshee.

Me too. I have never been afraid of winning or losing in a fair fight. And I am certain that, over the long arc of history, liberalism and progressivism always will win a fair fight.

It really does seem like conservatards really do not like fairness. They abhor it. From these ridiculous Gerrymanders, to their slavish devotion to the undemocratic electoral college.

A disdain for fairness seems to be in their DNA. One wonders if they teach their children to eschew fairness.
