Well, it’s not a given but I just warned an Enthusiast earlier today about it.

What can be said with some certainty is that someone took a shot across Mueller’s bow with Emmet Sullivan’s appointment to Flynn’s case. The interesting question is ‘The Who?’

First, there is some mystery surrounding the removal of Judge Rudolph Contreras from the case. Just days after accepting Flynn's guilty plea, Contreras was taken off the case by the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. No reason was given. Of potentially more interest is Contreras' replacement, Judge Emmet Sullivan.

I was wondering that myself.

Andrew Weissmann is the poster child for prosecutorial misconduct and he’s Mueller’s ‘pit bull’. Thing of it is, the Sullivan appointment came AFTER they indicted Flynn.

There were probably some ‘oh, shit’s’ coming out of Mueller’s office over that one lol. They better have all their ‘i’s dotted and their ‘t’s crossed.

There’s two theories about Mueller’s motivation in loading his team the way he did.

The first is straight forward: it’s a partisan attempt at getting Trump aka witch hunt.

The second is that Mueller [like Strzok] knew ‘there’s no there, there’ so he purposely loaded his team with characters like Weissmann so when he cleared Trump, democrats won’t be able to cry foul about it.

Either could be true, but I’m inclined to go with number one.

This seems to hinge on the FISA application, and all we know about that so far is the Nunes memo.

So we have conjecture built on a partisan interpretation, and "there are enough shady characters involved to believe there will be something of significance."
