Well- the new Strat arrived. Gorgeous. I might swap out the pick-guard and knobs for a different color- but then I might not.

I wonder how many people know that the Les Paul was a dud for Gibson until British guitarists started playing with them using Marshall amps?

It’s hard to believe that Les Paul guitars were not selling well in their early years. In 1961, production was even forced to stop. It wasn’t until the mid- to late-60s, when British rock bands like Cream and The Rolling Stones made rock ‘n’ roll history, that production picked up again.

I never saw him again after the 77 tour I saw at Meriweather was recorded for the Running on Empty Album..
he had a white suit ( pink carnation?) and a big white concert piano...It was snowing in July if you get my drift

Glad you got to see him. I don't want to see him acoustic though//he needs a slide guitar

Yeh, I can't see the point of that. Has he fallen out with David Lindley?

I have a Fender GT200 amplifier, which is a modeling amp. It's got about 70 presets for almost any amplifier ever made(and you can customize those presets or create your own). It's not the perfect stage amp, but I guess it's okay if you're not SUPER picky. But the default preset for my Gibson's is a clean Marshall. Just seems those humbuckers were made for that amp. VOX, another British amp, is no slouch in the tone department either.

Nice. I've just taken delivery of the Boss Katana 100 - which gels with my interest in electronic music- but I use my Gibbo with a Marshall 80 Valvestate, old school but kewl.

No you don't. You don't think about Palestine at all. You're just another cowardly, attention-seeking, troll polishing his todger instead of a guitar neck. Fuck off.

The world would be a better place if the likes of you were garotted with a rusty G-string. Now fuck off before I turn nasty.
