Rock is basically dead, as a popular art form. Still a lot of great music to be found out there, but you won't see it at the Grammy's or hear it on radio.

Kids just aren't picking up the guitar like they were a few decades ago. More kids are picking up samplers and synth devices.

I got my Memphis ES 335 from Gino's Guitars in Italy. It's damned near perfect- so I wonder if they farm out any duds to the boondocks. Bad policy if they do.

The name won't die regardless, it is far too iconic. Hopefully somebody will take them over and sort out the quality issues.
