Buying a gun illegally isn't difficult. How do you think ex felons obtain guns?

The police can arrest and/or detain and hold you on 'suspicion' of anything....and the FBI had that suspicion after being told by at least 3 people that this guy owned guns
and talked about shooting up a school.....

    Just how stupid are you......

ATF decided it could not regulate bump stocks during the Obama administration.
It that time," the NRA wrote in a statement. "The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."
The ATF and Obama admin. ignored the NRA recommendations.

Because handguns are used in the overwhelming majority of gun homicides.

Right but what in this kids background would have legally prevented him from buying that AR-15?

So again what is your solution? Just fucking say it you want a blanket gun ban like Canada and the UK.

I don’t... I even own a rifle. I want the AR-15 banned. I want people kicked out of school for violence to be prohibited from owning them, I want mentally ill people to be prevented from having them.

The AR15 has many brothers and sisters that will do the same thing as it does with little difference.....
banning one is useless....and admit to yourself, that our borders are a sieve....any weapon can be brought into the US 2 seconds after its banned here, just like drugs and people....
Thats just the facts of the matter.....start reasoning with your brain like an adult and not your emotions like a child.
But I'll agree that people kicked out of school for violence and mentally ill folks need to be prohibited from owning guns....at least for some finite time.....and convicted felons too....

It's not the guns as much as the gun mentality of Americans.

So you think the ACA and APA should be allowed to determine who owns a firearm? Should we start a new bureacracy to manage this plan?
