I might actually watch the news for a change if that were the case. Let me know when you plan on taking a stand so I can plan ahead.

Our police force and military tend to use excessive force above and beyond what is required or even what is considered just so I highly doubt our Constitution will come into play if they ever decide to take your guns away. It will happen if and when they want it too. That's what happens when you allow the govt to dump more money into a military than the next 8 countries combined and let cops get away with brutality and excessive force without consequence.

You think they will ask politely? Nah.

Considering I didn't mention what words I would add then your comment is just your opinion. I personally don't care if people own guns. I personally do care that the public in general has access to guns which can kill scores of people in a very short time. There is no need for the public to have those kinds of guns. To target shoot? To slaughter deer with? What exactly do we need such guns out in the public for?

So Internet heroes like our gun-humpers here can play one-night-stand-off with the U.S. military, thus saving the rest of us from tyranny. *snort*

What does the rest of the world think of a America.
Where the rights answer to school shooting is arm teachers.
It takes a special kind of sick mind to think that's a rational solution!
My thoughts and prayers are with these mind sick gun nut motherfuckers.

All this hatred for the NRA and those of us who are responsible gun owners, yet not one word condemning the perpetrator who committed this, or any other firearm crimes.
Will you all contribute to his defense fund? I mean after all, he just has a mental illness, right?
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

When they try to take what is mine and my constitutional right to have them.
Surely, I won't be alone. Bank on it...

I'm sure you won't be alone but however many of of you there are, it won't even come close to being enough. You simply do not have the fire power to take on the American govt. Period.

Just keep in mind, most of our military and law enforcement are private gun owners themselves.

Since it is a given that you will not eliminate guns tomorrow, what do you suggest in the interim?

    Serious question.
Clearly arming teachers is unlikely but what about hardening school doors and having a specifically trained security officer?
Is that too great a cost?
It is the responsibility of every American citizen to own a modern military rifle.

You don't have to mention those words specifically. When you think it's your place to determine what someone else needs and doesn't need, it's very easy to figure into what category the words you would use fit.

Appears to me as if your simply to cowardly to say them.

And? They do the bidding of the leader of this country, remember. As long as they get to keep their guns I imagine many of them won't care if you have yours.
