There are other options. Many people seek volunteer opportunities to help the community. Their can be volunteer armed guards on the lookout for bad guys at the schools, much like Zimmerman who volunteered to keep his neighborhood safe.

If a school district wants to allow and promote that, it should be their right. But I think we need professionally trained security at this point. Protect the kids already.

Rather than passing even more laws, that will just be broken by the next shoooter, *encourage* communities to find remedies that will protect students and deter the crazies.
