A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

At some point is there no reason our government should not obey its obligation to its own charter? Attend to insuring domestic tranquility, promoting the general welfare, etc.?
How many firearms was the Las Vegas shooter found with? Is that a private arsenal the government should not have taken notice of?

Now I disagree entirely. I rode wearing a helmet for almost 20 years and lived in Phoenix for three of them. I agree your hearing is slightly degraded but I never had a sever vision obstruction while wearing one. What made me a huge supporter of helmets was when I hit some sand rounding a turn hit the curb and slid 40+ ft. On my noggin wearing away 5 layers of glass. Other than a head ache and severe road rash I was ok. No helmet and I wouldn't be here today. So I would rather risk a broken neck than a coffin.

Our enumerated right to keep & bear arms is ROUTINELY infringed.

So you would rather be a paraplegic and have to put your family through keeping you alive for years.
I also had a wreck while wearing a helmet.
Cage driver turned left in front of me.
Something caught the strap on my helmet and tore if off and it's a good thing it did; because the doctors said that if it had stayed on, the swelling from the concussion would have crushed by brain before the paramedics showed up.
And yes, the investigation showed that the helmet came off, after the helmet and my head hit the top of the car.
