Yes, not a big deal. (Edit: What she said not winning bronze or talking about her grandpa.) But then I’m not an all in Trump guy.
I will say that athletes of the past undoubtedly went to the WH to see presidents they didn’t like or vote for. It’s becoming “in vogue” to do that though. In my mind it goes back to the right’s treatment of Bill Clinton. Some older folks might remember further back. Maybe they didn’t do Reagan like that because he was so popular...or old . Things (respect for the office even if your guy isn’t there) have gone way downhill since then.

I would like to know why the US is doing so poorly. Norway is 5 million people for Christ sake.
In the name of socialism, shouldn't they take away 9 of Norway's medals from people that actually did better in whatever events where they were won and give them to the U.S. athletes despite not doing as well?
It makes perfect sense. The athletes in Norway had better performances as judged by the standard used to judge that performance than the other athletes. That you don't like the person scoring better, higher, etc. being rewarded is your problem.
I've enjoyed watching that Russian curler. So cute

Real people aren't going to lose sleep over the medal count. Sorry. Olympians work hard to earn a spot on that team to represent America and to be ambassadors of peace and good will, and if they win a medal, it's just icing on the cake.
The Olympics aren't meant to be the place for your political views...
