Default "Trump's $4.4 trillion budget moves deficit sharply higher"

"President Donald Trump unveiled a $4.4 trillion budget for next year that heralds an era of $1 trillion-plus federal deficits"

"The spending spree has the deficit moving sharply higher with Republicans in control of Washington. Trump's plan sees a 2019 deficit of $984 billion, though $1.2 trillion is more plausible after last week's budget pact and $90 billion worth of disaster aid is tacked on. That's more than double the 2019 deficit the administration promised last year."

"All told, the new budget sees accumulating deficits of $7.2 trillion over the coming decade"

    http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/n...212-story.html

Plus all of that is only predicted if we don't experience any sort of economic recession or similar setback

And to address the sure to follow Obama "whataboutism," Obama ran trillion dollar deficits in his first four years, and that was addressing two unpaid wars, a new unaccounted for prescription drug plan, and a recession of historical proportions. Trump, least as he tells us nearly daily, has a splendid economy and limited overseas commitments, meaning his addition to the debt realistically will easily surpass that of Obama

    So much for conservative principles

Why does this spending bother you? Democrats got much of what they desired in the budget.

"Bother?" Not bother, I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy, for eight years all we heard was that Obama was wrecking the Nation's future, making out kids pay for today, was destroying the economy, etc., and now those same individuals who lambasted Obama are supporting spending behaviors that surpasses that of Obama. Least Obama did it to meet real threats, this is nonsensical

Fascinating; lying leftists didn't give a shit about the trillion dollar deficits Obama ran for EIGHT years. They wanted the ObamaTard to ramp up the deficits even higher.

Now they have suddenly all become fiscal conservatives. That is the funniest hypocrisy coming from the idiots on the left to date.

Obama and Democrats invented the $4 trillion budget. Suddenly, a guy who they don't like is in charge and they want to reign in the spending. No one takes you asshats seriously anymore. Your credibility has washed down the sewer of your ideology.

The hypocrisy of people saying deficits and spending don't matter until they aren't the ones spending it? Yes, there is lots of that hypocrisy here

Dear hyper partisan dumbfuck; Trump has barely been in office a year. Obama had EIGHT years. Grow a brain asshat.

    Wrong, shocking

Without adding the personal crapola, don't need it, it was you and the conservatives who had cardiac arrest every time Obama spent a dime, we were told about "conservative principles" and "conservative fiscal restrain" and "conservative economics" and "balanced budgets" and "zero balancing," and today, all the great proponents of those echos are supporting the spending habits of a President who is projected to go down in history as the greatest debt builder in history, and he an't even facing a historical recession nor fighting two unpaid wars

How do you spell hypocrisy, H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-S-Y, and now you can deflect importing all your personal carapola

And now tell us how does that explain what has been overtly exposed as the hypocrisy of conservative principles

Democrats didn't say "spending don't matter," that was Cheney when President Bush was running up trillion dollar deficits, and Democrats never echoed they were in favor of deficits and debt, in fact, the last President to deliver a surplus was a Democrat, those are all deflections, the hypocrisy lies with those who for the last eight years preached one thing, and now are supporting the exact practices they told us their principles would never allow

So now you're trying to argue Democrats don't have any principles and as such can't be hypocrites. That's one way to go about it.

Clinton delivered a surplus with a Republican Congress who battled him every step of the way on spending.

Democrats got what they wanted in this budget and you can't answer what problems you have with it. You are bothered.

The Repubs jack up the debt when they get in power. Then when Dems win, they suddenly care about the debt. The real reason is they want to dismantle anything that takes money from the wealthy. Trump is after medicare and medicaid now. The wealth gap is becoming an earthquake, spitting apart. Do not lay this administration and what it is doing on the dems. The Repubs have all 3 branches. We will all pay horribly for that.

    Now your stretching there "caw"

Democrats have principles and they follow them, that is the reason Obama ran up those high deficits, using Gov't to meet the needs of the people caught in a historical economic recession, which he was successful at, one of the reasons his historical ranking is so high. Can't say the same for current conservative nor Republicans

The Clinton point is debatable, but not here, been there, done that

And for the last time, the point you keep attempting to deflect, is that this spend free President is doing the exact opposite of what conservatives have told us for decades was one of their top priorities, key to their conservative principles, and they are supporting the move, can't deny it is hypocrisy and questions if what conservatives tell us are their principles only apply depending on who occupies the White House

Doesn't bother me, just pointing out the overt hypocrisy, and just to quiet you, the recently passed legislation that you keep referring hasn't even been added on to the projected trillion dollar deficit, it is not the driving force
