Default Appears the Senate has learned to ignore Trump is it want to accomplish anything,

"McConnell and Schumer jam the House"

"The crafty Senate majority and minority leaders announced a two-year budget deal that marks the end of the disastrous 2011 Budget Control Act. News reports indicate that “the plan eliminates mandatory spending cuts for two years and increases Pentagon spending by $80 billion and domestic spending by $63 billion for the 2018 fiscal year."

"The deal will likely enrage the Freedom Caucus (who grabbed onto the BCA as evidence of their fiscal bona fides but actually allowed the debt to balloon). House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) is now compelled to put a bill on the floor that a majority of his conference does not like — or take responsibility for a shutdown."

"For all of Trump’s outbursts, cheers for a shutdown and determination that an egregious immigration bill be tied to the budget, McConnell ultimately ignored him. That is the key to future deals. The president is and can continue to be a non-player so long as the Senate operates on consensus. The House faces a choice, or rather Ryan does"

So what is Ryan to do, he can't ignore a bipartisan bill to end the budget nonsense, but if he doesn't hoping to appease the President, he and the GOP will be held responsible for shutting down the Government.

Nothing like being President and having your party with a majority in both houses ignore you

i think this is a mistake for the GOP. We need at least a month long shutdown. Public sector employees are big supporters of democrats. Drain their funds right before the election.

Shutdowns serve no one, and if you need a conservative view, it can do serious damage to the economy, especially if it last a month, besides, in this case, the blame for the shutdown will fall directly on the GOP and the President

nice "accomplishment" this budget is. Republicans fighting to see if they can spend more than Democrats. Pathetic.

But it is a budget, and after the tax cut that was passed last December Republican claim of worrying about deficits and debt is a misnomer

We're supposed to cheer because they put together a crappy budget? Knock yourself out.

how does passing a bill in Senate that they know will be rejected by the House shift the blame for a shut down away from the demmycrats?......
